These Terms of Sale apply to every order placed on thesportsign.com. By placing an order you agree to them, together with our Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, Limited Warranty and the Product License Agreement.
Who we are
The Sport Sign sells goal lights and game-day signs online. Contact us at [email protected] or through our contact page.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
- Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- We may cancel and fully refund an order if a product can't be supplied, a pricing or listing error occurred, or we suspect fraud.
Where we sell
We currently ship within Canada only, excluding Québec. We can't accept orders for delivery outside these areas. See the Shipping Policy.
Pre-orders
Pre-ordered items are charged at checkout and ship as soon as they're ready. Estimated dates are estimates, not guarantees. You can cancel a pre-order any time before it ships for a full refund, including shipping.
Live scores and third-party data
Our lights display live scores from third-party sports data sources that we don't control. Scores may be delayed, inaccurate or unavailable, and a source may change or stop working. We'll make reasonable efforts to keep features working through updates, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted live data. The Sport Sign isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any league or team; team names are used only so you can choose which team to follow.
Personal, non-commercial use
Products are sold for personal, non-commercial use and are subject to the Product License Agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Sport Sign is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.
Records
When you check out we keep a record of which version of each policy you accepted, with the date and time. You can see these records in your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one you accepted at checkout.
